UAE Team Emirates (United Arab Emirates)
This team was effectively established in 1999 and was registered in Italy as Lampre-Daikin. It was in 2017 that the world team licence was transferred with funding from the United Arab Emirates, rebranding the team UAE Abu Dhabi. A further name change occurred as a result of sponsorship from the airline Emirates and the team became UAE Team Emirates. Additional sponsorship was generated through First Abu Dhabi Bank. The team representation in events aims to promote the nation of the UAE and getting people healthy through bike riding.
The general manager of UAE Team Emirates is Guiseppe Saronni, who is a former two-time winner of the Giro d’Italia. Currently a team that contains the UCI ranked world number one cyclist Tadej Pogacar of Slovenia, other notable riders include the Portuguese Joao Almeida and Italian Diego Ulissi.

Team Jumbo-Visma (Netherlands)
Team Jumbo-Visma has some extraordinary cyclists within it. The Dutch based team use Cervelo road bikes and was first established in 1984 when it was known as Kwantum-Decosol. The latest team-name stems from a sponsorship deal with the Norwegian based software company Visma. Since the team’s very first year in 1984, it has never failed to enter the Tour de France.
With Richard Plugge as the general manager, Jumbo-Visma have some exceptionally talented riders including UCI world ranked number two and three, Waut van Aert and Primoz Roglic. Jonas Vingegaard is also a Jumbo-Visma rider and he performed exceptionally in the 2021 Tour de France by finishing a creditable second place.

Ineos Grenadiers (United Kingdom)
Founded in 2010 as Sky Professional Cycling, the aim was to win a grand tour within five years of establishment. The team excelled and in 2012 Bradley Wiggins won the Tour de France and that was soon followed by wins from Chris Froome and Geraint Thomas. When Sky did not renew their sponsorship, British Chemicals Group Ineos stepped in and this was the reason for the team’s change of name to Ineos Grenadiers.
The general manager is Sir David Brailsford who was the former Director of British Cycling. The team has a strong line up including the likes of Egan Bernal, Richard Caparez who finished third in the Tour de France 2021, Geraint Thomas, Adam Yates, Teo Geogehegan Hart and Daniel Martinez.

Some exciting riders adorn the Quick-Step team that was founded in 1980 as Marc-Carlos-V.R.D. Woninbouw. General manager Patrick Lefevre is a former professional cyclist and considered one of the most successful managers in the history of the sport.
Some of the most watchable riders are within the team including Julian Alaphilippe, Mark Cavendish, who is the joint record holder of 34 stage victories in the Tour de France with Eddy Merkx, and Remco Evenepoel.

This is one of the most recent teams to be formed in pro-road race cycling having been established as Bahrain Merida in 2017. Now cycling in 2022 as Team Bahrain Victorius the general manager Is Milan Erzem. The team was formed by the government of Bahrain to promote the country. A consistent team with 13 grand tour victories with a general manager called Eusebio Unzue who helped the legendary Miguel Indurain to numerous victories. Originally established as Reynolds in 1980 one of their most recent triumphs came in 2019 when they won the team classification in all three tours.
The team spirit is engaged by high quality road racers such as Enric Maas, Miguel Angelo Lopez, Gonzalo Serrano and the never aging Valverde.
